The discovery of children in a state of severe deprivation is never pleasant .. these children had not seen their parents in days.. they were eating out of coconut husks..

The people you see are neighbors who came to see what we were up to. Mary-Lou- the taller girl is now being helped in school by eofo-eoto. You can see how she has changed since that day… all the children were passed to relatives.

We home visit Mary-Lou twice a month. She is struggling but going forward. WE ADVOCATED FOR THEM TO THE BARRIO CAPTAIN.

We cleaned them, fed them, and got them new clothes. We located the father .. and things improved for a while but the father had to ask others to take care of them. He was working in the forest. The mother has left them.
